Regular meetings are held on the last Thursday of the month, starting at 5:30 PM at City Hall, located at 12180 SR Hwy 111.
Public Comment Guidelines
The City of Spencer encourages public participation during City Council meetings in accordance with Resolution No. 2025-13.
- In-person verbal comments only. Sign in at City Hall before the meeting begins to speak.
- Time limit: Each speaker has 3 minutes.
- Topics must relate to City business and stay respectful and non-disruptive.
- To be added to the meeting agenda: Contact the City Recorder at least one week in advance with your name, address, and topic.
- Accommodations: Individuals unable to attend in person due to unique circumstances may contact the City Recorder to request an accommodation.
- The Mayor may issue warnings or remove individuals who violate these rules.
These guidelines ensure fair participation and orderly meetings, in accordance with Tennessee Code Annotated § 8-44-112.
